Limitations in LCD screen placements?

Recommended Posts

Guest n707jt

Hi guysI am actually required to refurbish and upgrade a flight simulator in my college with an additional of 2 side screens to increase the view angle. I know its pretty simple to hook the screen up with a Triplehead2go and stretch across the 3 display systems. My question is how far should these screens be placed from the line of sigh of the pilot to gain maximum realism? I have read that placing the LCDs at 45 degrees viewing angle will also be most optimal. Is there any form of literature that supports this saying? Straight%20Face.gifThanks!
