Is it possible to use Beta7 cache with Beta8 Tileproxy?

Hello AllThe only service that has a decent coverage where I fly most of time (Taubate Brazil) is Google. I use Beta7 and now I have a good cache that I could fly off-line.Do you know if I install Beta8 I could continue to use this cache off-line, as Google is not supported anymore?ThanksGino

It should NOT matter. I've 'serviced' the same cache with different services (at different detail levels) and encountered no problems. I have 4-6 service decriptions sections in my .ini that all use the same service but different caches - to keep things 'regionalized' and prevent any one cache from becoming excessively large and unwieldy. A cache is a cache is a cache - it doesn't care who provides imagery for it.One caution may be in order... when I unintalled to upgrade, the removal process also DELETED ALL CACHES THAT WERE REFERRED TO IN MY INI. I'd definitely (1) rename those caches before uninstalling or (2) remove any/every user.ini file that refers to a cache by name. You could end up with all previous caches gone! An update without removing previous version should leave everything intact. But trust is sometimes risky...Loyd

General rule of thumb: Don't uninstall to upgrade TP. This leaves your caches and configs mostly intact (except for some updates to values you choose during installation).Christian
