Wico Airbus Series 2

Recommended Posts

Guest westway

I have noticed when landing any of the wilco Airbus Series 2 aircraft that the flaps on the tail section flutter like crazy. Anyone else experiencing this, and is there a corrective action for it? Thanks

support forum -http://forum.iemit.com registration requiredthere are no flaps on the tail ... and there is not much back there to 'flap'. do you mean the animation of the wing tip flex? how to tell the basic parts of an airplane -http://en.wikiversity.org/wiki/Introductio...raft_components--

Just how "hard" are you landing her anyway :(
Forsooth, be the original poster referring to yon elevator flapping about in the wind?

Okay, so it's the "ELEVATOR" they're still flippen and flappen!
well i don't know what you mean by 'excessive' ... but the elevators will be moving to control the aircraft. any adjustments you make will cause them to move during short final. if you are using autoland the elevators will move so the aircraft stays on the G/S and LOC. there is also some movement from the FBW system.no one has ever made the comments you have about the tail's control movements.support forum -http://forum.iemit.comregistration required--

Ive been using the Wilco ver 1 and 2 for a while and have never experienced any excessive movement in the empennage area and as the previous suggests there is not enough to flap around except for maybe the rudder or elevator. Maybe worth a re-install.

This happens only with the Wilco Airbus. I'm serious, the elevators go absolutely spastic.
