Multi-part uploads

Recommended Posts

I am working on a scenery that I think is best (or required) to be uploaded as parts. I haven't tried this before. I see in library files a heading of Other files which are related to, or may be required by, this file:. I would like to use this feature but I don't see how it is done. I guess I could just start the upload and maybe it is obvious, but I don't want to get too far on the first upload, and then see I don't have some critical information needed to link the uploads. Or is this something library managers do in processing? Anyway, some guidance on how to upload multipart uploads so that the Other files which are related to, or may be required by, this file: is correctly populated would be appreciated.scott s..

What I suggest you do is first of all make as few sections as possible. Make sure you include good instructions. I would suggest you name the files _______part1;______part2 and so forth try to keep the names of the files short but to the point.Upload the files in reverse order jotting down the upload ID's of each one making the first part or main file last then when you go to upload the last file put a note in the note for library managers to link the files together listing the upload ID'S of the other files.
