How to get the old lay-out of this Forum?

Featured Replies

How can I get the old lay-out of this Forum? I mean the one, where several lines of the first contribution could be read. Now, the column of the Topic is so narrow, that I can read only a few words, whereas other columns (Author, Last updated date) are much broader than necessary. Not even "Choose Classic View" gives med the format I want. The FS2002 Forum at Flightsim.com is still in the same way it used to be here at Avsim.com. Is the old lay-out possible to get?Roland

Hi Roland, you have to choose "view in linear mode". This will give you the old layout.Wolfgang

I too, do NOT like this new way to view the Forum. I can NOT find the "place" to select the above, "view in linear mode". Please tell me where to make the change so that I might change to the old method. Thanks, jerry

You can find 'View in Linear Mode' at the top of the page. However, if it says 'View in Threaded Mode' you are in linear mode already...

Thanks Wolfgang for your reply. The linear mode is rather good but the columns "Author" and "Last updated date" are, in my opinion, still much wider than neccessary. I want the first column to be wider, just as it was before the change of the layout. OK, I guess have to live with it....Regards, Roland
