I was watching an airport video which included atc voice and noticed the controller was directing the aircraft to the runway as 'taxi to tango one".Also found the main runway at rjaa refered to as runway A.a new way to clear for take off?

These do sound like taxi instructions to me.Taxiways are designated with a letter; exist with a letter and number.The taxiway adjacent 16R/34L is alpha
