I own a Samsung Syncmaster 931BF 19" monitor. I'm happy with it.Always wanted another monitor next to it which would display extra sub panels that would clutter the main screen if expanded. For example, I would put the FMC, GPS and maybe weather radar on the second screen.I thought I'd get a smaller 15" monitor as my desktop is not big. But these have disappeared from the market apparently. So would a portable dvd player with a 7" screen be an option at all? I can get them pretty cheap, like 75$They come with a usb cable. Is it possibe to rig them up as a second monitor?Eytan Ornstein

--------------Eytan- can't answer re dvd player, but I recently picked up a "like new" IBM 17" LCD for $75 as a replacement for an old 19" CRT.So now I have ACER & IBM LCDs working with a 9 yr old KDS CRT! With a little colour balancing they appear identical. All three mons & keyboard fit into a 44" wide space. For correct viewing all mons should be at right angles to the line of sight- angling the mons as in the pic saves a few inches in total width as does overlapping the bezels. (Overlap is appropriate as long as the monitor surface edges intersect.)Nothing like a wide horizon to improve your flying!Alex ReidDawn final approach into KLAX (Excess blue tones in the pic caused by outside light.)
