How to dissengage B744 Autopilot

Recommended Posts

In the FSX controls setup, I've set a button on the yoke to toggle on and off the autopilot (mapped to Z).This works perfectly for the MD-11, but nothing happens in the 744.Any help appreciated. I did do a search but gave up reading the many, many results :( Thanks

Yes goto the PMDG menu in the flight sim, click on addons, PMDG, then keyboard commands, find autopilot disc, then assign a key to it, like ctrl+Z, then goto FSUIPC click the buttons + switches tab, and program FSUIPC with the button you selected, i,e. button two on your yoke = ctrl + Z set it and that should be it. you can test it in fsuipc by pressing the button and making sure ctrl Z appears.
