Some noobie questions

Hello Gents,I've never messed around with the mdl files in FS but I'm interested in converting a piston aircraft to turbine. Obviously, this would require a different visual model for the engine nacelles.How hard is it to do something like that? And what software would I use? Does a noob have any hope of being able to achieve such a task? I've done hundreds of repaints but never ventured into the "design" field.I assume you modify the mdl file with a certain program and re-draw the three dimensional shape of the nacelles. Is that about right?Thanks in advance.Brian

Hi Brian,It is not really possible to modify the .mdl file...you would need the actual files used in the design program itself. Unfortunately those are not usually made available.
