Question about meshes

Just some question regarding a situation I am facing: I am installing a global mesh over the FSX mesh, and on top of that some regional meshes with even higher resolutions (bringing, for example, Germany from 76m to 38m and then to 5m). So I will have 3 mesh layers. I know that FSX only displays the mesh with the highest resolution, but will this "triple mesh" situation slow my system down anyhow?Second situation is that the global mesh I have (World Landscapes 2) comes with a 9.9m mesh for the US. However, FSGenesis offers a 9.9m mesh with airport plateaus corrected. How can I make sure that FSX uses the FSGenesis mesh? World Landscapes doesn't allow me to turn off a region - in fact it isn't visible at all in the scenery library.So - what would be your advise?
