Hi thereI'm looking at getting this game for a bit of fun... Dont worry I am not lulled into a sense of this being anywhere near realistic flight sim - I have FS2004 with a tonne of add-ons for that :( . But I wondered, what platform I should go for..I have a new PC with i7 920 processor (@3.6Ghz), 6Gb RAM, 9800GTX+ graphics card, and I run a 24" monitor at 1920x1200 (I think). Standard 2 speaker setup. But I also have a PS3, hooked up to a 46" LCD TV running in full 1080p HD, and connected to a surround sound system.I have a joystick for the PC, but only the (dual shock) controllers for the PS3.Anyone have any opinion which will look better / run smoother / is the better port / etc etc ??? Part of me wants to see what my new PC can do, the other part of me wants to play it in glorious HD on my big TV! I am torn!!Would appreciate any advice!Cheers...Mike

I run a similar setup with my PS3 and I enjoy all my games except FS on it. COD, Gran Turismo, GTA4, Killzone2 and many others. It works wonders on HD TV's too. I would definitely go for the PS3 version.PS3 has the advantage of pure gaming, no stutters, no CTD's... I believe there are PS3 compatible joysticks too.Just my 0.02. :(

Simple, don't go for it, everything since ubi took over and dissolved red storm with tom clancy's name on it has been crap. If you want air combat, get DCS or Falcon....
