Requesting your opinion on a new livery

Recommended Posts

Hey Gents,I'm toying around with creating a new livery for a Caribbean based cargo hauling B1900. Below is a pic I made using the Ameriflight livery as a base layer (ignore the engine stripes, I didn't take the time to remove them for this exercise). So this is just a "quick and dirty" scheme to get an idea of what direction the final livery should go. Opinions?B1900profile.jpg

Zinfandel,Hey, thats not a bad start, but you might want to slightly reduce the white area on the fuselage in the following ways: I think you might try raising the cheatline a bit, either to the point where it covers the radome or (off the the top of my head)a point approx. a third of the way up the nose. You could get rid of the black radome, and have cheatline encompass the radome. The rear section is nice, but you could also try 'squashing'/shortening the livery slightly, with the first vertical stripe spaced either half its current distance from the the aft most window. The above are just a couple of random ideas that just sprung to mind as I looked at the aircraft. It always had to make a call on a livery at this early stage though, but this looks promising.Later, :( MarkSkyknight
