May 7, 200917 yr This one is bugging me slightly, so far unable to resolve...On every flight plan I do, I am consistantly asked by the controller,- "Sir your off your filed route of course fly heading XXX until recieving suitable own navigation" ... But I am already flying the heading the controller is giving me.For example, I am doing a flight KSDF - PHNL, I have just departed rwy 35R, and turn to my 1st waypoint- MYS, 29nm away. At MYS I fly towards PXV, a course of 275 .... but im told to fly a heading of 275 by the controller repeatedly, although I already am.This seems to happen if I am flying between 2 waypoints that 10nm apart, or 200nm apart.Dan

June 9, 200917 yr Hmm, happens to me still as well but haven't bothered to send alog so I have no right to complain.Still, it is curious that it is happening to other folks as well.Hey Yankee, does giving control to otto work if you take control back or do you have to leave him in control the rest of the flight?

June 13, 200916 yr When this sort of thing happens, is there a way to force RC to skip to the next waypoint?
June 13, 200916 yr Commercial Member When this sort of thing happens, is there a way to force RC to skip to the next waypoint?request direct next checkpoint, details in the manualif this keeps happening, instead of skipping ahead in your flight plan, try to fly the .pln a little closer. it should be hard to progress a checkpoint within a 4 mile radius.and if it is in a sid/dp, try to follow the sid/dp a little closer, or remove the sid/dp from the .plnjd JD Read my blog
