FS2002dw.cfg??!! What is it??

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, anyone else have this in their FS folder and have a clue where it comes from?? I keep getting terrain.dll errors and also a few other dll errors and this cfg is always listed in the error report. I opend it and it looks like an exact copy of the normal FS 2002.cfg. I deleted it several times and it almost always loads without error after I delete it, but the file returns. I don't remember it being default! I'd look on the CD, but I don't have it with me.Regards, Michaelhttp://mysite.verizon.net/res052cd/mybannercva1.jpgCalVirAir International VAwww.calvirair.comCougar Mountain Helicopters & Aviationwww.cgrmtnhelos.com

It is made by the error box and sent to Microsoft with bug report - I have one.

What the above poster indicated! Generally, the Microsoft Send/Don't Send will send two files to Microsoft when an error occurs. They are:FS2002dw.cfg - which is a copy of your fs2002.cfg filedxdiag.txt - which is a copy of your directx diagnostic file.If Windows, other than an application that has a special Dr. Watson folder, see fs20021033dwintl.dll and fs2002dw.exe, other files may be sent to Microsoft if Dr. Watson is operating properly. In WinXP, Dr. Watson is turned on and monitoring as a default. For Win98/ME, you would need to turn Dr. Watson ON for Windows errors. If an application has the files in the above paragraph, then they work independently from the basic Dr. Watson.
