FS2004 - I missed the early info, so I have questions

Recommended Posts

I haven't been staying as current as I should have (*grin*)...What do I have now that is not going to work in Fs2004? (I assume if it's not GMax or FSDS2, it's a goner?)Please correct any of these... I've heard/read/picked-up that:- The FS2004 system is not very different from FS2002.- FS2004 will include clickable 3d cockpits.- There are some ATC fixes/enhancements.- Wilber and Orville will NOT be attending the release. What other major enhancements are there?

Here's a few:-I've read that any aircraft compatible with FS2000 should be compatible with FS2004. So that would include FSDS, as well as FSDS 2 and GMAX.-The FS2004 weather system appears very different from FS2002. I finally saw the video, and I am speechless. I've flown in all types of weather, and flying with scattered cumulus is almost a given on any summertime flight out of Sky Harbor. These clouds looked real. It's the most amazing thing I've ever seen in a sim.-Ground textures look changed--perhaps refined is a better word. -I believe the sky will gradually darken as you go up into the flight levels.
