May 30, 200917 yr Knowing PMDGa dash 8-400 (I am almost sure that you all will do the 400) will be released next July. The 737ng- who knows...Maybe next x-mas or next summer or after that. Then its going to be the a320 in 2011...unless there is no need for one. Then in the summer of 2011 they probably will come out with something like a crj or erj.But I am willing to wait as I am going to TCU next year (no time to fly) and I am sure PMDG will put out a very good plane. May 30, 200917 yr Never trust any PMDG timeline. I have yet to see them get one right. They don't have to get it "right" because they never provide any timeline. Michael J.
May 30, 200917 yr It's possible to get full size and low compress JPEG ? We can only see some ugly and low rez picture.Benjamin
May 30, 200917 yr We can only see some ugly and low rez picture.Actually the look might fine on my CRT. Companies usually provide low resolution preview cockpit images (in fear that someone will copy their textures) but I was surprised how relative high resolution these images are (1024x640). You may want to check resolution settings on your monitor - incompatibilities often cause jaggies. Michael J.
May 30, 200917 yr about the next airliner...not being disrespectful of course...but hope is not airbus all the other publishers are doing it except for pmdg and Level D even though I know it is a Heavy but the 777 has been forgotten. this is what I expect or I wish to be the next airliner from PMDG See our policy regarding signature images. You are in serious violation of that policy. Please immediately come into compliance with that policy. Thank you.
May 31, 200917 yr Author Commercial Member Yeah, you could say that. I don't want to hijack the topic, so I will just say that someday I am going to write a book about my 2 million'ish miles of flying. A whole chapter is going to be dedicated to that flight.I still have the paperwork from that flight. :( (I can prove the Y/D was deferred!)Flight was probably :22 from takeoff to touchdown- but it'll take the reader four nights to read Tom's account of it. LOL... Robert S. Randazzo PLEASE NOTE THAT PMDG HAS DEPARTED AVSIM You can find us at: http://forum.pmdg.com

May 31, 200917 yr No kidding - this sounds like a good one. I'll pop the popcorn - someone grab some sodas. Tom, Robert, we're all ears! The Airbus 318,319,320,321,332.333,342,343,345,346 will be dmade by AirSimmer in a very high quality. So that wont be needed The CRJ 700/900 will be made by Digital Aviation in a presumably very high quality (Judging from their Fokker 70/100 + DO27!) The Boeing 757 is being made by QualityWings and Level-D So that leaves the E170/190 series + the almighty 777 left (At least in my world :( )- Philip Philip D. Schmidt Jensen - Denmark
May 31, 200917 yr I usually don't write much overhere, but I am wondering:I know that J41 is going to be a FSX only addon, will the dash be FSX only too? I am not going to change to FSX. If the dash is for both platforms I will buy it, if not, I will continue with pss one.Regards
May 31, 200917 yr Robert, that Virtual Cockpit is amazing! At least now I'll have a reason to buy TrackIR (finally!). :( By the way, how friendly is the J41 to be flown manually? I am looking for an aircraft that really is a pleasure to fly, not like the MD-11. Don't get me wrong, the MD-11 is awesome but awful slippery and unforgiving. It makes you to think ahead of it, but do one mistake and you'll get into trouble, especially in crowded airspaces. I really hope the J41 will be a dream to fly, can you please confirm if this is true? Marius Petrascu
May 31, 200917 yr Commercial Member The J41 handflies very well. It's not nearly the level of automation you see with the MD-11... (I don't really see anything difficult in handflying the MD-11 myself though, I do it all the time) Ryan MaziarzFor fastest support, please submit a ticket at http://support.precisionmanuals.com
June 1, 200917 yr Thanks for the input Ryan. Good to know the J41 flies well. The MD-11 is great but if I do a mistake it's hard to recover (in my case anyway). Thanks again for the input. Marius Petrascu
