Downloads counting unreliable

Hi folks,Today I discovered the downloads counting on the library unreliable.Downloading a file ONCE it ticks the counter TWICE.After installing the XP service-pack , when downloading a file the download is initially blocked by the MS Internet Explorer.This event is registrated by the counter as ONE download.Giving the program permission to actual download the file gives the counter a second tick and a second download is registered..This explains the huge increase of downloads , of my repaint files.And I was thinking it was due to the quality of my repaints , poor me ;)RegardsLeen " Flybike" de Jagerrepainter

This is entirely correct and expected behaviour.The counts given in the Library are approximate, as they are in all other file libraries of this type.Best regards,Matt

Thanks for the feedback Matt,Yes , I already assumed it to be like that.Probably ,I think, the real figures are about 60% to 70% of the counted downloads.RegardsLeen
