June 8, 200917 yr Today my fifth attempt take-off from LFPG (Paris). I made all necessary take-off configurations checks, weight/balance and Lineup on runway. Flex power setting. Plane reached 80% power I hear click sound all power to zero and Plane stops on the runway without power.. Every time I attempt to fly same scenerio. I jave already loged with MD-11 X close to 100 hours that is happening first time. There so no warning any thing. All in green. What is happening???ThanksSanal :( Ahmet Sanal "Time you enjoyed wasting, was not wasted"

June 8, 200917 yr when you say the airplane stops 'without power' do you mean that the engines shut down or that the electrical power is gone? Denis Kosbeck KPHX
June 8, 200917 yr Author when you say the airplane stops 'without power' do you mean that the engines shut down or that the electrical power is gone? Engines from 80% goes back to zero. , Usualy, Fs2Crew will shutdown APU before take off. Now here is the strange thing, plane has electrical power and AIR, other wise how can all three engines starts with battery power. I click all three engines they all on with 24% power. June 8, 200917 yr Do you push your joystick throttle fully forward after you hear the click of the autothrottle? Sometimes joystick spikes will send a signal and move the throttles back down even though physically their in position.Sean Sean Green

Yes, I usually forward the throttle after auto throttle capture the power. In this case when I hear click and power goes zero, I checked the plane throttle all three were full forward position. If so I had to de-install and reinstall the new paint for the plane to workCarl PerryCarl,Last week, I downloaded TWA repaint from PMDG. Yesterday I flew from JFK to Greenland and second leg to Paris. Plane did not have any problem like that. But I will take your advise. June 10, 200916 yr Author Carl,Last week, I downloaded TWA repaint from PMDG. Yesterday I flew from JFK to Greenland and second leg to Paris. Plane did not have any problem like that. But I will take your advise. ThanksSanal I un-installed TWA repaints, still I have same problem. I use FsX passenger. During the takeoff power developed up to 80% then all three engines shutdown. On runway I disconnected FsPassenger and restart three engines at same time( No APU and NO AIR needed. WOW that is never happens in real-world) I gave full power , MD-11 continue to take off, no rejection after 80% power. During the climb all three engine EGTs reached over 750C , EGTS turned red. I continued climb, in cruise power EGT went below 750C and no more red. That is very strange problem, but I think FsPX is involve with this problem . I put post in FsP forum. They are surprised also. They never had any problem like that. They advised I should minimized failure rate in FsP. I did it, but no change. Engines are keep shutting down after 80% power.RegarfdsSanal Ahmet Sanal "Time you enjoyed wasting, was not wasted"

When you turned off the APU the EXT power is configured to automatically supply power to the aircraft, same as with the air. In the FMC change from AUTO to By Request and it won't happen again. In SIMWORLD posible, I will check FMC. Ahmet Sanal "Time you enjoyed wasting, was not wasted"

June 10, 200916 yr Then make sure you disconnect ground air. There is no way to start the engines without air. Nathan
