Question about Reality XP gauges

Recommended Posts

I saw a screenshot over at the Reality XP forum of an updated DF 737 panel using the new Jetliner4 gauges. Does anybody know if FMC info (flightplan...) is displayed on the nav display form Reality XP?That is - from the DF FMC - so that full functionality is maintained.RegardsAsbjorn

No, I don't think you could use dreamfleet's FMC, but RXP are working on their own generic 'industry standard' FMC. The flightplan in the GPS will be displayed though, whether you use the default one or one from RXP. Very nice gauges btw, I recommend them to everyone who likes IFR. - Oyvind

Sorry for the norwegian babble, Jean Luc! The main question is still unanswered though, namely if it is possible for the FMC in the DF737-panel to feed flightplans into the Jetline EHSI. I guess the answer is no, but on the other hand the FMC is implemented as a separate .exe and would perhaps communicate with the default fs2002 gps...- Oyvind

Hi Asbjorn,That panel was modified by me.The answer to your question is no. Although a FS2002 flightplan can be displayed on the the RXP-NavDisplay, it is not bound to the flightplan in the DF-FMC. The projected flightplan is actually loaded in the FS2002 flightplanner (and also in the DF-FMC).RealityXP will develop the Jet Line C version in due time and that one will feature a generic FMC which be be used in every aircraft.Take care,Egbert Drenth
