GPS/NAV switch by default

Recommended Posts

Guest

Hi,I have an annoying problem and I don't know where it comes from. When I open an aircraft, by default, the GPS/NAV switch is set on the GPS position. This means that, for aircrafts that don't have this switch, I can't use the NAV instruments. I have to go back to an aircraft that has the switch, make the change and then load the aircraft I want.Does someone know how to chnage this behaviour? Thanks

Not sure, but check the NAV/GPS switch in your default (saved startup) file aircraft. If the aircraft you have saved as a startup has the GPS switch selected, this may be carrying over to the next aircraft you select.I had a similar situation with the battery switch w/FSUIPC, where I wanted the battery switch on (always), with an extended battery life. My startup file, however, had the battery switch off, so when I selected an aircraft without a battery switch, per se, the battery would be off until engine start. I just saved a startup situation with the battery switch on before saving the file - and no more problems.Hope this helps.
