I am not allowed a credit card at the moment and was wondering if theres other way (cash, debit, ect) that you can pay for an add on with?

You can use a debit card effectively in the same way as a credit card (in fact that it what I use since I do not actually have, nor do I want, a credit card). alternatively, you can set up an automatic bank transfer from an account to paypal, so that you have funds in paypal, which can then be used when buying via paypal. Some companies will accept a cheque, although they would await it clearing before despatching goods. If none of those are acceptable, you could give someone the cash and get them to order a product for you with their card.Al

What about getting one of those pre-paid credit cards? My bank here in Poland offers that & I know you can get them in the UK - dunno where you are though, but might be worth checking out if that service exists.

Be careful with direct bank transfers with PayPal. If something goes wrong, the banks are not required to offer any protection with a direct debit transaction. If a fraudulent transaction takes place. A credit card though would protect you. I don't know if the same rules apply to prepaid credit cards (If they are available to you) but if they do, I would go that route if I was you!

I thought you said you had a debit...thats the only thing I use.

I have a pre-paid Mastercard that I use for all of my online purchases. The thought of using a regular credit card gives me heartburn, but the idea of using a debit card really makes me sick. Debit cards don't have the 'protections' that regular cards have. Pre-paid cards, however, don't require all the personal information banks do, so there's virtually no info to hack. They ain't perfect, but I just like a little peace of mind.Bob
