July 17, 200916 yr I have vista on my other computer as well, and other then being shiny and slower i dont experience any huge problemsthe problems I was talking about was when my computer originally with vista was changed to XP then crashed.

Just follow the instructions. :( I personally would never get the upgrade version of an OS, but rather reformat and perform a clean install.On the other hand, downgrading to XP from Vista shouldn't cause any problems, as before just know what you're getting into. Again, driver compatibility issues may arise, among other things, right?
