August 2, 200916 yr Sounds like to me the peelot just unhappy with his career choice. The controller (I think his name is John or "Boston John") kept a happy attitude about him, though.I'm always amazed at the rudeness of ATC and/orPilots. Last week on the way to Kitty Hawk I filed instruments to get around some storms and restricted areas. August 2, 200916 yr I always make sure I say "Thanks for your help" to all the controllers I talk to. I've only had one bad experience with a controller and that was the other day when I said I'll wave the wake turbulence delay. I guess it was a heavy and he wasn't to happy that I tried waving that. It was a preemptive reminder for everyone to keep their replies at least at a more mature level than the "nincompoops" elsewhere... :( If everyone would "self-moderate" there'd be no real need for official moderators... :( Fr.
