Hahaha. That would be great. One of my friends is a FO for Airtran (737). He was recently in town so my Fiancee and I met up with him and the captain for drinks. They were joking about how on longer flights and espcially red eyes - they have portable DVD players and they'll just watch movies after they reached cruise. My friend also said that depending on who the captain is - sometimes all he can (and is permitted to do) is read company material, ie: manuals. Blake

I agree too. Obviously PMDG will release it when it's ready - why would they release when it's not ready? Some of the statements made by the staff are just down right rude. There really was no reason to respond like that when someone was just getting excited. Seems kind of backwards. Blake

I'm sure Ryan didn't intend to offend, perhaps the intention was to let you know it is not ready.We are on Beta 5 and there is still work to be done. Every one is as eager to launch her as you are to get your hands on her. Hang in there, and don't discourage us from sharing with you during the process.

It is definitely not 'awfull', it is very direct and to the point but there is nothing awfull in this reply. You guys are way to sensitive, stop expecting that every post must go through some sugarcoating not to offend anyone. They are busy and you have nothing better to do but nick pick every reply.

I can understand it from both sides. I think it is best to just let it pass and not respond at all. If someone insists on pushing the point though, then get tough. Yes, same pop up. The ramp manager is also a pop up, which is how you open the door, set the chocks and roll up the GPU.I always like the 2D panels until I tested the MD11 but still used them alot, but this VC world has become my preference. The trick for me was learning how to pan and zoom with the mouse and I've programmed my own move viewpoint keycommands in a diamond on the keyboard so my foggy brain can remember them (I use E-S-D-X with Ctrl to move in a plane and Shift with E and X to move close and farther. I've gotten so I can move around the cockpit like I lived there. This sure is fun.
