Just saw on the FSDreamteams website that they will be doing Honolulu and some other airports on the islands, however they have not said which ones. Its airport scenery for PHNL (and maybe other Hawaiian airports), not photoscenery for the entire island. I should be a great companion product with your Megascenery Oahu.

This is nice. Now I have more of a reason to fly back and forth to Hawaii.

It's about time! :( If they can do the two on the Big Island (Hilo and Kona), Kahului on Maui and Lihue on Kauai, sheesh, short-hopping heaven. I'd reload the Cessna Mustang just to do the hops...

how funny I was just flying around yesterday thinking how cool it would be to have the major airports modelled

So far that's what they wanna do is model phnl and other airports that way some of the guys can island hop it will definitely be amazing and wonderful add on for both fsx and fs9 for phnl I'm super excited seeing this project! :(

I just hope it lines up well with the MegaScenery addon. It would be ashamed to have to revert back to FSX default scenery for Oahu. I am greatly looking forward to FSDreamteams work. I will be getting all of my inter-island AI flights going!

Probably will, just make sure to place it above the MegaScenery layer. I have their Las Vegas KLAS and it lines up perfectly with MegaScenery Las Vegas.It will be interesting to see how it come out. I love their work, but i'm not to excited about Hawaii for some reason. I'm more into Caribic or Mediterranean sceneries. However I may change my mind once I see the finished product.

This is really good news. This would be one of my top five airports for FSX. I would love to see some more West coast destinations. I really miss KLAX and I would love to see KSFO done for FSX and then there is PANC. Sometime somebody is going to do this airport.

I also noticed the 30% off sale. This will be an opportunity for me to finally get the KLAS scenery. It looks like the EG&G terminal is modeled well. Otherwise I will probably do a lot of island flying and even a little soaring from time to time.

I have ohare and mclarran and both work great with the megascenery addons of these areas. There is a major mesh issue with mclarran if the airport is not above the megascenery layer but other than that everything is awesome. They make the best airport addons in the biz imo. I didn't know they were having a sale. I may pickup ft lauderdale even though i don't fly in that area it is worth 23 bucks to have the airport. I wish these guys would do national or dulles airports though and i wish megascenery would get off their duffs and do the DC/northern va area.
