windows 7 x64 and FSX full screen problem

Hello,just did a clean install of windows 7 and FSX. On windowed mode is working great but when I got to full screen screen goes back and forth between a small window and a black screen, then the small window satys on still showing the desktop. Full screen won't workI installed the latest nvidea drivers, fsx sp1 and sp2video card is 9800GTX with a dualhead2go, native resolution is set the same on windows and fsxThank you!

Using the latest driver from NVidia? That happened to me for any full screen directX game (so FSX, Rise of Flight, etc...) on my 180.x drivers and went away when I updated to the 190.x whql drivers this month. If you haven't tried that, I'd recommend.

thanks, yeah I have the latest 190.62Any other suggestions?

its the matrox software. disable the matrox service and kill the TSR's through task manager and then try it. The gxm service in the matrox software wreaks havoc on certain games for me as well.

thanks J0nx, that worked! Tho I'm getting horrible frame rate with directX compared to classic. I'll have to play around with it.
