convert fs2000 model files to fsx?

Recommended Posts

Guest mackattack

I downloaded some free planes that were for fs2000. I have fsx and I get an error mesage saying: "Cannot display visual model" so I was wondering if it is possible to tweak the model file to make it work for fsx?

As Ed said, not a chance. The format for the FS2000 models is ancient, and totally unsupported by FSX...

Aww, thats a shame, cos it aparently works right up to fs2004 but it misses fsx, I guess fsx doesn't have the backward compatability. Oh well thanks for the replys anyway!edit: Is there a patch of some type to make fsx support it?

No there isn't. It's intentional.
