DF 737

Recommended Posts

Guest

I'm sure its been asked before but I'm obviously doing something fundamentally wrong with my flying - the DF 737 autopilot works as advertised but I can never get a localiser/glidepath capture and always end up handflying the approach (I set up the radio freq etc)Any quick answers/solutions - Am I missing something very basic here?!!KD :-zhelp

Dont quote me on this, But i think if you want the ILS capture and autoland to work propley you must have both autopilots on, and the ILS freq, must be on both NAV radios.Jason

Yes you are :-)Both NAV radios must be tuned to the ILS frequency and set to "Manual" mode.If you don't set the radios to "Manual" you will never intercept the localizer/glideslope.
