September 13, 200916 yr For some reason I can't get any Canadian VORs, NDBs or Waypoints showing for anything north of 60 degrees North latitude with the Navigraph 0909 data installed. Is this an issue with the data or with the FMC?Link to Navigraph support post here http://forum.navigraph.com/forum/default.a...osts&t=1448 David V
September 13, 200916 yr Dan, based on another post, I think he's using the JS4100.David, please give us a list of the ones you haven't been able to see (don't go crazy and try to list them all, just a few would be helpful). I did you test flight last night and wasn't having problems north of 60N. September 13, 200916 yr Author Sorry yes JS-41. I started a new topic just to have a title more clear of what the issue appears to be.A few examples are the YFB, YRT and YPX VORs, the YFY NDB, the J561 airway between YVP and YFY. If I enter in any of the waypoints in the FMC the coordinates section shows up as blank, if I try to use that airway it sends me 700 miles south of where the starting point should be as it has no idea where YFY is.Kurt I see you are also running 0909. Could you try setting up on the ground at CYFB and try entering a flightplan CYFB -> YFY - J561 YVP CYVP? also try to see if the YFB, YRT or YPX VORs will show up for you. David V
September 13, 200916 yr Maybe someone else can replicate this -- I can't. As I wrote in the other thread, I was able to fly the CYFB-YFY-J561-YVP-CYVP last night with no errors.David, have you tried reinstalling your nav data? Best Regards, Kurt "Yoda" Kalbfleisch Pinner, Middx, UK Beta tester for PMDG J41, NGX, and GFO, Flight1 Super King Air B200, Flight1 Cessna Citation Mustang, Flight1 Cessna 182, Flight1 Cessna 177B, Aeroworx B200
September 13, 200916 yr David and Kurt: I just tried entering the flightplan for CYFB-CYVP while on the ground at CYFB. When entering YFY, I get a pilot enter waypoint screen with blank latlon.I can enter YVP and J561, BUT YVP doesn't reside on J561 according to the wpNavRTE.txt data:J561 001 PQI 46.774186 -68.094542J561 002 PQI31 47.290625 -68.120978J561 003 YYY 48.612142 -68.208986J561 004 YBC 49.134000 -68.222222J561 005 YWK 52.960078 -66.853514J561 006 YKL 54.815000 -66.755000J561 007 VP 58.055986 -68.486472J561 008 AMASS 61.038153 -68.515992J561 009 YFY 63.733333 -68.548056note that YVP is not included above.Still looking at the YFY issue, it exists in the wpNavAID data:FROBAY YFY NDB 63.733333 -68.548056204.00NFROBAY YFB VOR 63.741667 -68.473333117.40HIt's not due to it being a NDB, the FMS will not accept YFB either.Interesting. September 13, 200916 yr Author Sorry its the VP NDB not the YVP VOR that's on J561 - the route is listed correctly in the file. Either way I can't enter in YFB, YFY, YRT or YPX as waypoints as you mention.I will try reinstalling my NavData after I complete this flight. David V
September 13, 200916 yr Author Reinstalled Navigraph 0909 data - still can't enter YFB, YFY etc. David V
September 13, 200916 yr David,It's noted. We're working on it. Best Regards, Kurt "Yoda" Kalbfleisch Pinner, Middx, UK Beta tester for PMDG J41, NGX, and GFO, Flight1 Super King Air B200, Flight1 Cessna Citation Mustang, Flight1 Cessna 182, Flight1 Cessna 177B, Aeroworx B200

September 15, 200916 yr There is a bug that seems to appear above 60N, but not sure that it is related to the latitude or the size of fix data resultng in loosing those fixes at the end of the list. It just so happens that the fixes at the end of the list are at the higher latitudes, since the list is sorted by latitude from low to high. Last heard, the developer was troubleshooting. I assume by now problem is identified. Fix will be included in SP1 (I assume).I think if you don't have a problem with the fix in the 747 but you do in the JS41, then yes, it is related.
