My Specs:Dell Dimension 8250Intel Pentium 4 3.06Ghz512MB PC1066 RDRAMATI Radeon 9700TX 128MBTurtle Beach Santa Cruz Sound Card16x DVD-ROM48x CD-RW120GB Hard Drive19" P992 TrinitronWindows XP Home Edition w/ SP 1I'm definatly keeping what I got for FS2004. I think the only upgrade I'll ever make on this machine is the video card when the last of the AGP cards are released when PCI Express takes over.

I had a bought with my Athlon so I built a new one. My Athlon XP2200 was not putting the FPS on the scoreboard I wanted.I built a P42.6 w/ 533 FSB.GFX5200 (upgrading to the new 5900 when available)1 GB PC2700 333MSI MBAvg FPS (ALL sliders over but visibility which is at 90 miles) is anywhere from 12 to unlimited. My Athlon hovered at 8 to 19 FPS. Not much better unless I backed off the settings a bit.My new machine on order:P4-3.06GHZ 512KB L2 CACHE PGA478 800MHZMSI NEO MB HT EnabledDual Channel DDR400 (1GB)And of course, robbing parts from the machine above to include the new 5900.Let

I also have a low spec system:P3/800384 Megs Ram (Just upgraded from 256 Megs--big diff with FS2002, namely with more complex aircraft/panels)GeF-2 TI (21.83 drivers)SB Live ValueOS 98SE DX 9.0These concessions allow me to receive a solid 25 fps w/o AI, and 20 fps with:800x600x32 screen res.Water detail & reflections: OffAircraft reflections: Off (Some low poly aircraft are an exception, otherwise I prefer the fluid flight fidelity vs. the eye candy)Autogen: Normal SettingAircraft and ground shadows: OffAll other sliders, maxed.

Man, I need a new computer....Dell XPS-T powerleaped to 1.2ghz, 384mb RAMGeForce2Ti-64mbWin 98FS2002 runs well though, sliders about 75%. I need to keep AI traffic low though. That's the framerate killer for me!Upgrading to a Dell 2.66ghz in about 2 months.....
