FS2004 - DVD format only?

What about my "20th century-vintage" floppy drives - both 3.5 and 5.25 versions? I'm simply appalled that FS2004 won't be released on 20 diskettes... after all, why should I have to buy new technology, when I can hold on to old technology forever? ;)
