How can I create a cab file containing cabin announcements sound files that are already in the FS9 gauges folder??? I want to avoid having to install the files one at a time with FS Panel Studio if I can. TIA...............John

You need a little DOS programme called cabdir from the Flight Simulator 2004 SDK to create gauge CAB files for FS, but I don't think you can put sounds in them.I should guess it is in http://download.microsoft.com/download/a/2...s_sdk_setup.exe but otherwise check the links at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/555857/deuJohn

You actually have to look no further than your FS9 folder to find cabdir.exeIt is placed there when you install FS9.regards,Joe

The cab creation program I use is called CabPack -You can get it here (free) :http://www.simtel.net/product.php%5Bid%5D9...ID%5Dsimtel.netI find it much easier to use than anything else I have tried.
