747 fmc

Hi I have a problem with the FMC on the 747. I am familiar with the FMC on the 737-800 and have never had any problems with it. For some reason the FMC on the 747 will not follow a route. For example if I press LNAV it will fly to the first fix

[downscc 1,327]

Current cycle is 0911 but that isn't the problem.Verify your route by stepping through each leg and watching the ND in PLN view, make sure there's no disconnects.On departure, you have to select a runway if you are not flying a SID or a SID and runway. I assume it is the first fix you are having a problem with.
