"...Color Scheme Changed..."

With Windows 7 64 bit, every time I start FSX I get the following message on the screen:"The Color Scheme Has Been Changed to Windows 7 Basic"Anyone know why this appears and how to stop it?Thanks a lot,Howard

Hello HowardYou cant stop it, This happens because FSX is not compatable with the Aero desktop so W7 drops to the basic skin.

And then Windows 7 automatically restores the Aero desktop when you exit FSX.Windows 7 is just doing what it needs to do to run FSX. No need for concern.Todd

When that message pops up, you should have the ability to click on the balloon notification to get more details. In that further detail information screen, it will give you the option to turn off the notification itself. I would recommend this, so you don't get bothered every time you launch the program. Since you now know the reason why your screen flickers a bit as you launch (and exit) FSX, you can safely and confidently turn that alert off for yourself. :) -Greg
