ND indication

Recommended Posts

Hi GuysI have aquired a sudden additional indication on the ND when flying a route. If a VOR appears on the route there is a green dotted line labelled 180 south of the VOR and 000 to the north running through the VOR symbol. This green line runs right accross the ND. I've never seen it before ! Where did it come from and how do I turn it off. Thanks in anticipationDavid

Hi DavidThat green dotted line on the ND you refering to, give's you the information on what radial to the VOR station you are positioned from, You can turn it OFF by pushing the "POS" switch on the EFIS control panel. It only show's on the MAP and MAP CTR mode of the ND display. GreetingsMark

Is there a manual entry for VOR Left or Right on the CDU NAV RAD page? If so, use the DELete key to remove them, or return them to Auto-tuning. Cheers, Q
