November 23, 200916 yr Hi,I have a few queries, may need to split this into two topics but any how for now ill ask straight out.Firstly, i have FSbuild for creating flight plans, its fine and i use it with leveld 767 and captain sim 757.Question is, when using either of these planes and i select a SID or STAR i never know which one to pick because i dont know where ill be approaching the first way point from. Is there a piece of software that shows you the route of the sids and stars so i know which one to pick. Im finding i just select one at random (relevant to the runway im landing on) but then i find i have to fly miles out of my way to intercept it.Second question, on the PMDG md11 the lo and hi speed protection kicks in at various points, how do i disengage it?? only on approaches the lo speed protection can kick in and if messes up my landingFinally is there any software i can use to create flight plans for the PMDG MD11 (to be loaded in through the coroute) only the FSbuild software doesnt seem to support it.Thanks in advanceTom Tom Why not read some useful tips and tricks - http://forum.avsim.n...22#entry1965722

It is a free program and will compute the flight plan in several different commerical formats (PMDG MD-11, Level-D, and others). I have used this quite a bit over the last few weeks for use with mostly the MD-11 and some for the LD 767. What is also great about this site is that there are hundreds of already completed flight plans that you can simply download and are ready for use in less than a minute, and they load right into the coroute box in PMDG MD-11.For ones that are not yet created, you can prepare the plans by adding the waypoint info, but I tend to just use the precompleted routes. Hope this helps.Pete Pete Solov - Lake in the Hills 3CK and Schaumburg Regional 06CProud AOPA Member - PPL 2001Real World Piper Cherokee Pilot
