I have the ones in my sig. The only one I have had any issues with is Nice X. It's too bad because I was really looking forward to that one. The one thing about the sceneries they make is that they typically don't mip map their textures, so if you are having shimmering issues you will have to mip them yourself. So as an end result you may get some texture shimmering even with high settings of AA. You can read this 11 page post that explains some of the issues with Nice X http://www.forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?showtopic=28853I have become a little disenchanted with thier products after my purchase of Nice X. I give them credit for making a few patches that seem to help a little, but the product still doesn't work as well as a lot of other aiports I have from FSDreamteam, FlyTampa, and Imaginesim. What really got my ticked off was when one of their main guys named Mathijs Kok told me that the problems I was having with Nice X would be fixed if I reinstalled my operating system, FSX, didn't overclock or tweak my system and basically left everything stock. While I know it's possible that a users computer can have issues that affect the performance of a particular addon, in my case I knew that wasn't the issue as my FSX install was fine and every addon airport I have was working fine with the exception of this one. The problem was mainly because the textures weren't mip mapped and not my install of FSX or my OS.Depending on the airport you are interested in, I would go to their support forum and try to find any posts regarding the airport you want and see if anyone is having issues with it before you buy.Going forward I will probably not buy anything that they produce unless it is done by their German Airport Team. Nice X was done by Aerosoft, but not their German Airport Team. A few of their other new releases have had some similar flickering/shimmering texture issues reported. I think that I will be trying to buy only from FSDreamteam, Imaginesim, and FlyTampa going forward, unless they produce an airport that I just have to have and no one else makes. However, I will wait until a fair amount of time afterwards to see if anyone else is having issues with it.On a side note, a few people here and on their forum have reported similar issues with the San Francisco, New York, and New Orleans city scenery that they sell, although from what I understand it is not actually produced by them.Good luck.

Aerosoft has released a very large number of scenery packages for FSX - which one(s) are you particularly interested in?I own several, and I mostly find them to be good value for the money.

how they run in FSX?
I am mainly interested in a few of their AIRPORTS and possibly some scenery. Some of their products seem a little expensive too.

Well, there are 60+ different airport and scenery packages to choose from, prices start at around $18, and they are done by several different developers (Aerosoft is both a publisher and a developer). You will have to narrow it down a little if you want meaningful responses :(

Whatever is for FSX! Here are some for starters, they have pages of them. What do you have that you think is worth the money and work well?German Airports, German Airports 3, German Airports 3 X (not out yet), Luxembourg Airports, Hong Kong City & Kai Tak AirportMega Airport Frankfurt X, Mega Airport London-Heathrow X, Mega Airport Madrid X, Mega Airport Stockholm Arlanda X, Mega Airport Paris Charles de Gaulle X, Mega Airport Brussels XI am also interest in small airports around the world, like in some islands.

I have to say that most of their stuff for 2004 was very good. Ibiza, Menorca and Nice spring to mind The problem is, with all scenery addons, that they use a lot more resources that the default, which was fine for my machine running 2004 but I'm so marginal on FSX that I don't use so much in the way of addons now, though will do once I've upgraded to a CPU that I can run close to 4 gigs. Nice was a particular framerate killer as I recall.IAN

Ryzen 5800X3D, Nvidia RTX5080 - 32 Gig DDR4 RAM, 1TB & 2 TB NVME drives - Windows 11 64 bit MSFS 2024 Premium Deluxe Edition Resolution 2560 x 1440 (32 inch curved monitor)

Some of those I own and like are Aspen, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Ibiza, Lisbon, Lukla, Mallorca, Muenster-Osnabruck, Paris CDG, Madrid Barajas (all FSX). Frame impact is about the same as with other complex addon scenery, what you get depends on your computer specs. The only one that is a bit too much for my 2-year old system is Heathrow, which I tend to avoid.I also have VFR Germany 1, but I don't like the colors much so it is not installed at the moment. Many of their addons have been reviewed by Avsim and other independent reviewers, so try searching for one of those if you find one that you are interested in.

I have all of them.. you must realize that some of those are not "Aerosoft" products (i.e. Hong Kong/Kai Tak) ... Aerosoft is just the distributor.. not the developer.Regardless, all are excellent sceneries, though some are a bit more FPS intense than others (i.e. Heathrow, Frankfurt, Paris).. pretty much any of the "Mega Airports" is going to be much more of a frame-eater than the smaller airports.. but the details are incredible and as a bonus, they are all AES compatible.Have fun!!- Alex

I have all of the megaairports you listed and I think they are great. I especially love the Frankfurt aiport. I also just today ordered German Airports 3 and Luxembourg. I really love all of the products they publish and I think the frame rates aren't bad at all.Pete

I have it. Without any doubt this is the best photoscenery in Europe. You get full autogen and wintertextures, and also some night enhancements. With FSDT Zurich and Geneve...and with flylogics small airfields this is the no.1 place to fly. Yes, it's expensive but you will never ever regret this one. The textures are sharp and very colorful and with all those mountains around you will get some wonderful VFR-flying.Bernhard

I purchased 'Airport Sion X (FSX only)' form Aerosoft and it is a really nice piece of work. Check out the photos at their website.I was flying around within mountain ranges using REX and the scenery is just overwhelming.

I would also recommend Switzerland ProX, it's expensive but it's alot of scenery, that plus the other flylogic Switzerland stuff melds together seamlessly.Austria Pro X is pretty good too.Makes me wish I lived there.I would recommend their New Orleans Scenery, Ibiza, Madiera, and Mallorca are pretty frame friendly (prob because the airports are near the water), I can't get their Charles De Gaule to run at anything above a crawl, I don't know how their other mega-airports are. I didn't get any Germany sceneries because of the lack of night lighting.
