FS2004 Nighttime flying question

Recommended Posts

Guest

Just curious:1) Does the moon light up the clouds at night?2) Does the aircrafts lights light up clouds if you are going through them?3) Does heat lightning exist in 04?Also, does the Learjet have the same engine sound as in FS2000/2002? If so, is this what a real Lear sounds like?thx,John

Can only help with the very last question on your list - yes the Lear's engines do sound very much like the sim (or vice versa :-) ). The one thing missing (and I always adjust big-time) is the wind noise is way to light and needs to be more of a hiss. I always also increase the volume of the wind a whole bunch and keep the engine sound way down in volume.Glenn

Don't know specifics to 04 but certain models in 2002 lit up clouds as you flew through them. Mainly 3DS or Gmax models, FSDS no, but maybe that's changed in the latest version.I can't remember if you have to be inside or in spot view to have the best viewing effect.
