Feel There ERJ?

Recommended Posts

I am thinking about buying this plane, so for anyone who has the plane I would like to know how is it? Does it fly good? How does it look visually? What over all grade would you give the plane?

I bought it....Some discussed the value of why someone would buy an aircraft for $15.00, that doesn't include a panel or V/C, has only wing views and a virtual cabin. Short answer--because I liked it, and still like it, and no one's built an ERJ like it before. Nick Botamer has a fine ERJ, but he doesn't include wing views, as is his right. Since I am a silly, non-pilot (I should say, ex student-pilot), eye candy oriented simmer, I spent the money and I've been happy with the unlimited liveries, and the great candor of the team over at Feelthere (the $15 was worth it just to establish a friendship with those folks).Unlike many projects, I feel like my money buys me a say in their project. Heck--look at FFX's outstanding DC-10. I'd pay for that too. It's my hobby. Been years since I've blown $80 on a rock concert. For $15, the ERJ is a heck of a lot of fun and lasts longer than hearing Mick belt out his music. As for the flight model, I found it a bit twitchy, but I've never flown a real ERJ. I adjusted the MOI's upward a bit, and it improved the twitchiness. I'd give the aircraft an A- An A+ would have been deserved had a V/C been included.... Visually, it's excellent with dynamic shine, and is very fps friendly. -John

What panel do you use with the plane? Does Bill Grabowski's ERJ panel work with the plane? Also on the web site it has the ERJ 145 for $9.99 and it also has the ERJ 145 SE for $14.99. So with the SE version you get 2 planes? One with a sliding door and one with stairs?

I looked at airliners.net shots, and the ERJ model. If there's an issue with the nose, I'm hard pressed to tell. One of the questions related to nose shape, the person was looking at a CRJ on some site, vs. the ERJ. CRJ and ERJ's--well, they have RJ in common.Another question asked was about the panel. I know Bill's works with it, but I believe there's a gauge that needs to be disabled, or something like that. I just alias the default Lear panel. I shamelessly admit I bought the aircraft for exterior eye candy, the nice virtual cabin, and the dynamic wing views..... Sounds expensive, until I realize I blew $7.00 at Subway yesterday when I could have made a sandwich and brought it to the office.-John

Bill G. was aware of this problem so he included a switch on his thrust limitter gauge, so you can do that without any modification.

I think it`s 2004 compatible. I saw some screenshots with that version. I`m hoping it will work :)

I have just bought this plane, and it's excellent with Bill's panel. Go get it if you love the ERJ!
