Fuel dump

Recently I started playing with some emergency situations. In certain cases that involves fuel dump.I was scouting through the manual and the forum for some details about the process but could not find explanations.1. What is the exact procedure when dumping fuel?2. Do I need to enter in FMS any data prior dumping and if yes on which page? (I could not find anything in the FMS manual regarding that)3. What is the minimum fuel quantity in the tanks (lbs.) where the dump ceases? (I found different numbers in the forum and in my case appears that 11000 lbs. gives me yellow message L/R DUMP VLV_DISAG and the dump stops)4. What exactly does the message L/R DUMP VLV_DISAG mean, and why I can not dump any more fuel after the message appears (Abnormal Procedures Manual says that "fuel dump time increased" but if I understand right the system should still dump)?5. Can I dump below the 11000 lbs. mark?Thanks,

Use the FMS Fuel Init page (Init page 3) to set the "Dump to GW" figure to adjust your gross weight to MLW or max safe landing weight (which ever is lower) depending on the conditions at the alternate airport you are going for, then turn the DUMP switch on. When the specified GW is reached, the FMS will close the valves, which causes the DUMP VLV DISAG warnings (because the valves and the switch differ). Turn the DUMP switch off to clear the warnings. Note, keep an eye on your CoG if you are dumping a lot of fuel, you might want to consider stopping the dump and letting the cross feeds rebalance the tanks every now and again.
