FS2004 Mesh

Recommended Posts

I heard one reviewer say that the default mesh scenery for FS2004 was a bit more detailed than in FS2002. Can anyone confirm this, or post a few screenshots?

One thing I remember someone mentioning in a review, was that autogen buildings and such are now perfeectly lined up with roads and forrests. Thats at least one major improvement :)

Previous thread, similar question, think the consensus was there was no change in mesh detail level.

>Previous thread, similar question, think the consensus was>there was no change in mesh detail level. The Caribbean areas that I have visited have vastly improved mesh, although some other areas appear the same as with FS2002. I could assume other locations have been improved also...........since it's a big world.L.Adamson

I hope so. Yes, I do recall discussions about the Caribbean, forgot about that. I'm usually flying up in NW USA or BC, and was hoping to see the default mesh improve in the "hills", so that's what I was paying attention too. With all the other improvements mentioned, I'm excited about picking up my reserved copy when released, regardless.Ron
