July 18, 201015 yr It is isn't it? there would some really nice Pjets out there if they weren't so tight on info. A PMDG G5 would be just the tops!! How about the Bombardier global express? Could that be done?A Global Express would be nice. July 18, 201015 yr id love to see an A300! i would love to fly that bird from memphis to LAX in Fedex colours :(
July 18, 201015 yr Gulfstream actively blocks high end addons of their planes from being made. Several companies have tried and been sent cease and desist letters from what I understand. They're very secretive about their aircraft because of how high end that market is.good idea though in terms of competition.
July 18, 201015 yr I would really like to see a Dash 8 Q400You and me both ;) Rgds Dean May Happiness is a limp windsock

[i stil dont know why they are not making the Q400 first]The Q400 is a completely different aeroplane in every sense, quite why it is even a common type rating is a mystery (well it isn't, it's all about saleability and cash) it'll take more than just an exterior add-on to make it work. July 18, 201015 yr Me too AlexI fly the thing for a living and it is one of the more common aircraft that has never, ever been modelled by a payware developer. I don't know why one would model the 200/300 instead of the Q400 when the Q400 offers much, much more to the simmer than the 2/300 model does. I guess PMDG must have their reasons. I am not sure I'd buy it to be honest, I already own the PSS Dash8, if I want to fly it I'll just boot up FS9 instead of FSX, but never say never :) Rgds Dean May Happiness is a limp windsock

July 18, 201015 yr What's it like? where do I start...It's quirky to fly, very difficult to land, there is no "harmony" in the flying controls, for example, the control input in pitch and roll is different. At high dynamic pressures it is touchy in pitch and heavy in roll. At slow dynamic pressures it's quite touchy in roll and heavy in pitch. There's alot of inertia too, a couple of our pilots who have flown 747s says the Q400's inertia is the same as a 747.Bags of power in the lower levels, not so much in the higher levels. The biggest thing with it is if you mis-handle it, it'll bite you, if this happens it'll probably ruin your day. It has full EFIS which is a bonus, it could have a better FMS but it does the job, the VNAV is unreliable, there's no autothrottle, and because they kept it a common type rating with the 300 series there's alot of gotchas in the cockpit which they could have ironed out should they have made it a stand-alone type.Overall, enjoyable to fly, quirky, difficult, keeps you on your toes and can ruin your day. July 30, 201015 yr I got the CLS versions of the A330/A340 but they just ain't doing it for me any longer since I bought the PMDG MD-11 :DI would think almost every airlines in the world have either have the A330 and/or A340 in their fleet I would think their would be a huge interest for either ones. I would personally prefere the A330-300 or A340-400.//Peter S
July 30, 201015 yr I brought up the idea of a Global Express to the team a while before the J41 was released. I offered the team insight that I have actual AME (aircraft maintenance engineer) manuals for the entire aircraft and systems development will greatly benefit from such materials. They will still mostly focus on passenger craft but I will flip upside down if they decide to go forward with Bombardier simulations, after the Dash 8, that is. Erik L.
July 31, 201015 yr It would be nice if PMDG started to develop some executive jets, like the Bombardier LearJet, and regional jets, such as CRJ-200, -700, and -900, also from Bombardier, and the Embraer's Regional Jets (ERJ 170, 175, 190 and 195). Matheus Mafra
