Aircraft textures blured

Recommended Posts

Guest planenutter

I have recently decided to create Qatar airways 747-400 textures. I did everything correctly, but the aircraft seems blurred and you have to be really far away to see it nicely. I would really like this to become unblurred because it is my first ever aircraft texture! Any help :)Planenutter

Planenutter: Your problem stems from mipmapping, but there are a lot of people with a lot of experience with this kind of problem here: << http://forums1.avsim.net/index.php?showforum=200 >>Do a search over there for "blurry textures" or "Blurry". You should find an answer.

Planenutter, as a newb I was trying to be polite; I guess I should have just told you that this is not the appropriate forum for your question and that there is a dedicated painter's forum, which I thought you may have missed since it's buried about half way down the main page. Your "blurry texture" problem is a very common mistake for newbies and is discussed at length in many places -- a search would have shown you that.Good luck.
