FS2004 Traffic

Recommended Posts

Is there any way to prevent FS Traffic2004 causing inadvertent collisions with aircraft? I had a very frustrating incident with a Level-D 767-300ER First Choice repaint about to touch down from a long-haul flight from KMIA into EGKK using FS2Crew being hit by an FS Traffic2004 plane descending right above the 767-300ER and causing a collision. What a wasted flight.Luckily I saved the flight but I now lose the FS2Crew experience of auto-landing the plane.Any suggestions/tips welcome.Thanks.RICK ALMEIDA

Thank you for your suggestion.I had already discovered that trick. But it seems a shame to lose that realism when in fact Traffic 2004 could have been better programmed to take into account ATC movements and thus stop traffic when entering taxiwaysat the same time as one's own aircraft. After all,it works in landing aircraft and taxi-ing off, etc.I reckon I'll just ditch Traffic2004 for something like UT.

FS2004 collisions is not realism. It is overkill and a pretty frustrating feature if you ask me. Most people turn it off. You won't miss much with it off.Traffic 2004 is not the culprit. All AI behaves badly and you'll always risk a collision with whatever traffic program you use. It's FS itself that is to blame. UT is no better.
