Flight Simulator Path (registry?) has gone awry. Help!

Recommended Posts

Hi. Can anyone suggest an answer to a problem I have just encountered. I am not aware of having done anything untoward myself - things worked just fine yesterday. Today, although FS9 loads as usual, programmes I use like Scenery_Align and AFCAD2 now tell me they can't find the FS9 directory, even though it's where it always has been.AFCAD2 has an option to browse to the FS9 folder, but not all the programmes I use have that option - some just tell me they can't locate the Flight Simulator directory and that is that.I have searched the registry for every occurence of the phrase "Flight Simulator", and every one seems to show the corrrect path. There are no System Restore points I can use either (though as all the paths seem correct, not sure that would have helped). Any suggestions please, I am at a bit of a loss..Thanks,Martin

You know, it's odd - I had a vague memory of there being such a tool around somwhere - had a look in the AVSIM library & found nothing, so assumed it was wishful thinking on my part. When I saw the link you posted I remembered that it was a bit of Flight1 software, but I would never have found it otherwise.Ran the tool and now all is back to working order. Many thanks for the help!!Martin
