FS2004 and multi monitors(windowed only?)

Can anyone confirm FS2004 supports multi monitors in NON windowed mode .Read on another forum that you can only undock and drag windows to another monitor only in windowed mode(In full screen mode apparently the option to undock is greyed out). Please tell me this isn't true.

It's true, but once you get it dragged over you can go back to full screen and it stays there on the second monitor in a functioning mode. At least for a few things I've tried so far. This seems a little wierd, but it works out OK.Bob

Thanks guys, This just makes no sense whatsoever, why would this make it through beta testing. does no one use multiple monitors? Talk about a true step backward. But I guess as long as you can switch back to full screen mode after the undocking its somewhat saved, but why? it worked great in FS2002 so why mess with this. Hopefully its something that can possibly be adjusted in the config file somewhere.
