Bridges at St. Louis in FS2004?

Recommended Posts

Guest

Can anyone else check to see if they can see any bridges crossing the Mississippi River at St. Louis (There should be 2 or three near the Arch) They were there in FS2002. BTW, this is not a complaint, just curious if I have a setting wrong. I see bridges in other places in the FS2004 world. Maybe MS left them out. Thanks.

I can't verify. However, I can verify that there do seem to be missing bridges here and there (Coronado bridge in San Diego for example). It seems that MS has used a new system of placing bridges-there will be more "generic" bridges placed where they exist in reality at the expense of missing some major bridges here and there.....http://mywebpages.comcast.net/geofa/pages/Geofdog2.jpg

Thanks, Geof.I have found many places were roads just end at water and a bridge is "missing" where there should be in real life and places where bridges have been removed in real life and are there in the sim. Oh well...having a blast exploring and the power lines and rail lines are nice touch. Maybe some scenery-minded person can put some of these bridges back someday.

Kansas City has the bridges going across the airport..LOL...we're waiting for the SDK so we can fix these things (our LCY scenery, namely).

>Hi there,>>Is the yellow Skybridge visible south of St-Petersburg>Florida?>Maybe a screenshot???>>Thanks, BassyThe bridges in Tampa are all messed up. Most end in mid water, the Skyway is gone, and several south dip into the water and back. Some of the bridges in Sarasota have multiple copies over top of themselves. Here's the Skyway (or where it should be) looking north.Oh well...Regards,Axenos

Wow...your London stuff looks great!!! I take it you are doing MCI? Could I talk you into doing STL? I see MS has also left out the detailed terminal and the other control tower at Lambert (It was there in FS2002). I am orignally from St. Louis, but have been on the east coast for 2 years...Lambert was a fun airport to visit, lots of fighters from McDonnell Douglas, er.., I mean Boeing. I see that American is pulling a lot of flights out of STL and maybe alot of the repair work out of KC. Sad.I have a "Just Planes" tape of MCI and STL, my son loves watching it!!

Yes, we've already started filming KMCI and the surrounding area...KSTL will be the 2nd installment of the "Tornado Alley Series"

GREAT!!! Cant wait for KMCI and KSTL!!I do miss Missouri, but not those damned tornado sirens (Not to mention the tornados themselves)!!!! Green skies in the afternoon and the wail of the sirens as you go scurrying down into the basement and turn on the TV.

Glad to hear it..we're doing MCI with the cooperation of the KC Aviation Department. I've already got some awesome video (yes--airside and landside video), so far, of both KMCI and KMKC. I even rented a '2000 C172sp and got some great aerial video footage.(the whole flight of KMKC-KMCI-GPH-KMKC). Landing at KMCI in a cessna is always a blast..:-) Although my landing at MCI wasn't the best--as you'll soon see in the promo footage in a couple of months...my 2nd at GPH was a little better..hehe.
