http://www.youtube.com/user/Mhimhi66#p/u/5/iUwdPQQTWrYi have seen some good video's of what FSX is capable of but i think this is one of the best i have seen yet.i dont know who this person is so i am not here to promote him but if you want to see what FSX is capable of doing take a look. the other videos are really amazing as well, really shows what FSX can do with the right computer (probably having it tuned for FSX is a help as well i bet)

i can see his hardware specs, but I'd love to know what add-ons he has.

Is it just me, or does that Virgin B744 look a bit odd taking off without flaps?

i think in the video there is a pop up box that mentions something about it. at the very end of the video it also mentions the add ons he is using (Orbx, REX, PMDG, ther are a couple more) and yes his hardware is making a big difference i am sure.

I especially liked the landing of the A380 in full screen on my 30" monitor in HD! Yikes!Jim

How on earth is he getting that level of image and performance quality?? That's as good as it gets.Even down to the head movement, is that trackir or is there an addon that can simulate that better than fsx

Yes great stuff :-)

I wanna know how he got the ground effect on the A380 landing. I can never arrest the landing in FSX.

I for one am glad MS pulled the plug after FSX, it gives the addon dev's time to create and show their stuff! I'll be flying FSX for years regardless of any other sim surfacing.

The video is brilliantly produced and edited, but that is only part of the magic. That level of detail and performance is par for the course with ORBX regions and sceneries. Any and every reasonably equipped computer can have incredibly advanced realism with FTX in living and vibrant colour, not toned down like the video. FSX with FTX is a lot more advanced than FS11 would have been out the door but more likely somewhere near what FS12 or FS13 might have been. See for yourself:Orbx FTX Screenshots :( Stephen

Interesting, Long live FSX!

Great video, yes, but recorded at 1/10th speed and then speeded up. Look at the video "Landing jfk.. not perfect but...AMAZING quality!!"....Regards,Jure
