PMDG 737 NGX: The View Forward

Recommended Posts

Guest yankeesji
I tell ya .. if someone asks, gets no reply and then asks again with comments like "still unanswered" then for many people he/she is demanding an answer. Got it?
"I tell ya" - "Got it?" Really? You're too funny. :( You talk on here like your opinion means something. Turn it down a little turbo.

If there's a rosebush on the runway, does the NGX simulate thorns in the tyre?

Then I suggest you review your modelling techniques. :( Goran

I agree.... It would be better if they just said "SURPRISE, 737NG in the store now!" but they prefer to torture us.... :( :(

When a thread for a flight sim add on hits 250 000+ views, there is going to be some inevitable craziness. It's also very easy to misinterpret text in forums.Like I said, it is what it is.Goran

Never seen a preview thread reach 50 pages here on Avsim.I believe this calls for a celebratory preview. :( Instead of screenshots, how about a description of some new NGX features?(Yes, this is a shameless attempt at Vin & Crew to keep feeding us stuff.)

Take-offs are optional, landings are mandatory.
The only time you have too much fuel is when you're on fire.
To make a small fortune in aviation you must start with a large fortune.

There's nothing less important than the runway behind you and the altitude above you.
It's better to be on the ground wishing you were in the air, than in the air wishing you were on the ground.

Ok captains.. the last of the radio panels (for now). You'll see more once we set up the final layout to accomodate additional options for your PMDG 737 NGX (HGS/HUD Control!).This will give you something to chew on for the weekend... and is slightly more than a sliver :( More pics next week!
Guys pls dont do it too much dirty... cause it will look like a vintage plane..instead of a top tech recent plane! :(...Even more fun: an option to set the plane tear and wear :(... Its just my opinion.Cheers,M

I'm actually digging the "real cockpit" look! Adds to the realism! Besides if it was all shiny and new, the price would go up! Lol! One of the things that blew me away with the J41 was the dusty screens and the greasy paw prints on the FMS! Now a cockpit that would show it's age over time? How cool would that be? Then call up the Swiffer Duster panel and Voila! clean! Lol

I like the tear and wear too...it does look more real.....but for me...too much of it makes it seem like a thirld world country company airplane... when the plane is already in the end of its life...when i saw it like that it sort of made me remember the 727 from CaptainSim with all the analog instruments. But dont get me wrong... its lookin amazing anyways!...this is just a small detail...that depends on each person's taste...so the option to set it (if possible) would be the best.Regards, M

Yeah after seeing the new tech from PMDG, I hate to say the CS stuff looks really dated and low tech. Besides after a day of simming, my floor around my set up looks the same as the NGX pics!

Gentleman,With the weekend approaching perhaps is time for a new "big" screenshot to fuel the thread up?
