January 22, 201016 yr Hey there,Was wondering if it's possible to simulate windshear condition in fsx if so, i'd sure appreciate your guidance on howto execute it.thanks.
January 22, 201016 yr I know I've felt it (or something like it) frequently. Unless I DISABLE the feature. See the weather section in the learning center. Then set a weather scenario that might contain some shear -- or set your winds with manual settings. It's there.Loyd Hooked since FS4... now flying: FSX Acceleration on Win7/64, Core Duo E8400; GA-EP45-DS3R; GTX 460-768MB; 4G RAM; Freezer 7 Pro

I have developed one in my scenery 52Foxtrort scenery that can be found in the library. mm_52foxtrot_v1.ziphttp://library.avsim.net/search.php?Search...t&Go=Searchif you want to create one for yourself, you need to create a reverse thermal in Mission mode. Once you are in the Mission you can fly like you would normally. Manny Beta tester for SIMStarter

January 23, 201016 yr Adding a payware wx engine (I use ASA) might help. I have experienced several wind shear incidents over the past several years, always with T-storms in near vicinity to the airport and when I was on less than 5 mile final. They were always completely unexpected and, truthfully, frightening at first. The airplane simply stopped flying and fell from the sky as if the laws of physics had been completely suspended. Are you sure that's something you want to go through? I've never tried setting things up to generate wind shear in a planned manner.
